Our Staff

Master Ellison is a 6th-degree Black Belt cancer survivor and has been teaching Taekwondo for over 35 years. He is an Internationally Certified Master Instructor, and is certified to teach over 10 different weapons, Rape Prevention, Pressure Point Control Tactics, and Street Self Defense. Master Ellison is a Retired Military Emergency Management Specialist. He is currently a Deescalation Crisis Intervention Instructor for Prime Health Care. 

Master Ellison was awarded Instructor of the Year for 2001 and was inducted into the United States Martial Arts Hall Of Fame on August 11th, 2001. Master Ellison earned the title of State Champion for the years 2001 and 2002. At the World Champion Competition, Master Ellison earned 8th place. On August 2nd, 2003 In Newport Beach, CA. Master Ellison was inducted into The Master's Hall OF Fame with a Special Achievement Award for Outstanding Martial Arts Instruction.
Master Ellison takes pride in his country and the State of California by serving in the California State Guard. His rank is Specialist. Master Ellison was the official hand-to-hand combat instructor for his unit the 26th  Cavalry Support Detachment. 

 Mrs. Ellison is a Third Degree Black Belt Certified Instructor. She is a 3rd Level International Judge.   Mrs. Ellison is the Student Director and Liaison for our Huntington Beach Studio.
